Xitt Kodi
Goa’s soul on a plate – market-fresh fish simmered in a coconut-rich red curry, ladled over steaming rice.
Authentic Goan seafood & curry
Fiery curries, coastal grills and slow-simmered coconut gravies, cooked the way they are in Goan homes – with patience, pride and plenty of flavour.
From classic Xitt Kodi to rava-fried kingfish, every plate tastes of the Konkan coast.
In Konkani, “Xitt Kodi” simply means rice and curry – the humble, everyday plate that keeps Goa going. At Xitt Kodi House we honour that plate with recipes that have travelled from village kitchens to our London stove.
Our masalas are ground fresh, our toddy-vinegar pickles are slow cured, and our seafood is cooked just until it tastes of the sea, not the stove. It is food that feels like Sunday lunch in Goa – shared, noisy and full of stories.
Whether you grew up on the Konkan coast or are tasting it for the first time, we want every meal here to feel like coming home.
